Jenny Morgan makes National debut in Washington D.C. exhibition

+ gallery is extremely pleased to announce that artist Jenny Morgan made her national debut last Saturday July 1st 2006 with inclusion in the "Outwin Boochever 2006 Portraiture Competition" sponsored by the Smithsonian Institution. Morgan's 2005 painting "Falling Into" is now on display for the grand re-opening of the Washington D.C's National Portrait Gallery alongside the work of 51 other artists from across the United States. Over four thousand artists submitted their work for inclusion in this prestigious exhibition, with 100 semifinalists announced in November of 2005 and the 51 finalists selected in January of 2006. Morgan's work, along with the other finalists, will be on view at the National Portrait Gallery until February 18, 2007.
