Museo de las Americas presents an evening featuring Juan Downy video art Saturday, August 13th

Our friends at the Museo de las Americas present "Film Under the Stars: Celebrating Chilean Video Artist Juan Downy" on Saturday, August 13 at 8:30 PM. Enjoy this exclusive presentation of one of contemporary film's most original voices, Juan Downey, under the night sky at the Museo. Select documentaries exploring the self and Latin American cultural identity from this legendary pioneering video artists will be shown (and moderated by + gallery owner Ivar Zeile). Downey, a Guggenheim Foundation and NEA fellow, has been featured in solo exhibitions at prestigious venues such as the Whitney Museum of American Art and Museum of Modern Art in New York, and other prestigious venues across the globe.
