"DISASTERS OF WAR" EXHIBITION OPENS TONIGHT, THURSDAY JANUARY 25th AT MIZEL CENTER
Tonight is the artist's reception and grand opening of the Mizel Center's newest curatorial endeavor, a contemporary response to Fransisco Goya's renowned "Disasters of War" series. Mizel Center director Simon Zalkind invited 20 local artists to respond to the series with a piece of art in their own style. Five + gallery artists including Lenka Konopasek, Gabriel Liston, Wes Magyar, Jenny Morgan and John Hull will have pieces on view, and we encourage you to go out and see their works, along with the rest of the exhibition. The reception is from 6 to 9pm this evening, and the Mizel Center is located at 350 S. Dahlia Street. The exhibition runs through April 6th, for more information visit www.mizelcenter.org
