DENVER INTRODUCES

Denver announces it's newest arts district today, Saturday January 28th with an all day open house event. RINO is the River North Art District, the brainchild of several of the prominent galleries and studios that have been located in the area north of downtown Denver for both short and long-term durations. As people may already be aware, the area north of Lodo has always been a cutting-edge creative zone, with many of the cities most unique and progressive operations located in its ever-expanding boundaries. The time has finally come for groups in the area to band together, and create an identity that rivals the Santa Fe Arts District as the place to find the best in art, design, commerce and creativity. The long-standing issue with the area has been its size, as several initiatives have been in place over the years to create an identity, but the reality is that the boundaries have been difficult to define without leaving significant parts of the cultural landscape out. With RINO, the community will find a zone that encompasses a terrific and diverse group of businesses and studios that can all be considered major discoveries on their own.

The District will launch with the open house today from 1-5pm, followed by a party at Ironton starting at 5 p.m. to celebrate and give prizes for the most stops visited. You can begin anywhere on the tour, but we recommend visiting + gallery first and finding out the rest of the tour info from here! If you would like more info on RINO now, you can visit the Rino Website.
