+ gallery opens fall season with exhibitions by Price and Latimer

After a couple of weeks out to enjoy the month of August, Gilbert and Ivar welcome everyone back to celebrate the beginning of the fall season with a fantastic new exhibition by Denver artist BRUCE PRICE and the introduction of JARED LATIMER. Those who have enjoyed Price's beautiful works in the past will stand in amazement at the new direction this artist has employed in his most recent efforts. Price surpasses all expectations in both scale and complexity, culminating in an exhibition that we are eager to launch. In addition to new works, the gallery presents a small survey of the artist that reveals an elegant development in skill and process rarely on view in a commercial setting. Newcomer Jared Latimer compliments the exhibition with a body of abstract works that constitute a wonderful interplay between artistic style, color, and socio-political banter. The artists hard-lined geometrics are imposed against soft, organic backgrounds and sinuous, painterly strokes. It's a dynamic pairing that sets the tone for the beginning of the fall season. + gallery will host a preview of the exhibitions tonight, Friday the 2nd from 6-8pm.
